Infused Chocolate Covered Fruit



Ingredients:


  • fruit of choice (strawberry, banana, raspberry, pineapple, etc.)

  • chocolate melts or chips

  • COOKING OIL from ingredient


chocolate to cooking oil ratio can vary between 1 tsp - 2 tbsp of cooking oil per 1 cup of chocolate, depending on desired infusion and creaminess. (we used a 1 tbsp: 1 cup ratio for dark chocolate and a 2 tbsp: 1 cup ratio for white chocolate)


Directions:


Microwave method-

  • Place chocolate and *COOKING OIL from ingredient into a medium sized bowl

  • Melt in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds


Stovetop method- 

  • Fill a medium sized pot approximately halfway with water and set to a light boil on the stove top

  • Pour desired amount of chocolate and *COOKING OIL into a stainless steel or glass bowl

  • Place bowl over boiling water (the bowl should not be touching the water. the steam is what melts the chocolate mix)

  • Gently stir until chocolate and COOKING OIL are evenly combined and melted


Cover each fruit with desired amount of chocolate using a skewer stick and place on parchment paper to dry
